Kari Mølstad is a glassblower and glassartist based in Lillehammer, Norway. She makes functional objects as well as unique art pieces. When creating glass pieces she draws inspiration from nature’s changes and her surroundings, and from the material itself, playing with different glass qualities and working the glass to technical perfection. Using different cutting techniques she experiments with the glass surface in order to find new ways to communicate with the observer.
